Working with Carol Westcott has been such a pleasure. I’ve had many voice teachers throughout the years, and she is one of the kindest, most professional, and most effective voice teachers I’ve ever worked with. When I first contacted her, I wanted to improve my musical theater skills since I’ve always struggled with singing since I was young. She has helped me immensely improve the control of my voice, belting, and pitch. What impresses me the most is how healthy my voice is while still sounding better and better each week. Carol is a great teacher. She has the technical expertise to get “deep” into vocal technique, and yet possesses a practical approach to teaching, thus making her lessons very accessible. She really wants to help her students move ahead in whatever style of music they want to pursue, and does not try to force her musical tastes on the student.
